This week covered mental and physical health but mostly mental health and showed us how we could inprove are mental health through diet changes exercise and meditation the talk I found most helpful for me personally was the diet talk was we learned about how eating the right foods can change your energy levels and boost seratonin and dopamine levels which are feel good heromones which are released when we do something good but issues are are diet can prevent that from happening we also learned how processed or frozen foods destroy your immune system as there are not good bacteria in them and many additives that are harmful to the body and are immune system are diet can decrease are serotonin and dopamine levels when eating processed or frozen foods also foods with little nutritional value this can lead to depression and anxiety issues this I one of the reasons depression levels are so high in society today and bad dieting such as the above also leads to obesity which can also cause depression this has really helped me since the talk and I can already see inprovments in my diet and mental wellbeing
