finished the 3 October and I much preferred than the first as I got to know the staff and understood my role as a volunteer more I also got help much more this week with playball as there was only one member of staff there today runnin the course and got a better understanding of was bray lakers do and how it helps the members Gaisce I'm volunteering in bray lakers which are a great charity that works with people with physical or mental disabilities it's located in bray off the sea point road. They strive to try help these people work passed there disabilities so that they can do what they want to do, be it boxing, running,bowling, swimming etc and help them reach their full potential so that they can one day compete in the Special Olympics which many of there members have they also help kids that aren't so sportier and have art classes to help them express themselves in a safe environment.
- My first day volunteering was on Tuesday after school and me and Oscar helped with teen play ball a time where members go to express themselves and join in on games set by the volunteers that come every week too help out my job was to encourage the kids that didn't want to join in on the games this was an interesting experience for me as I have never done it before but all the kids were all very nice and enjoyed the company of everyone around them

physical activity
I have chosen To do gym work for my physical activity for Gaisce I have started in shoreline gym bray. I chose to do gym work as I have never done it seriously before and I want to improve my strength and physique so that I will be able to perform better in many situations in life also so that I have much better fitness. My first day I focused on my back, chest and arms as they are my weakest muscles and I would like to improve them, I go for 2hours a week and I'm trying to make it 3 times a week but has proved difficult due to my busy school schedule.

For this I am doing a barista course which takes place on a Saturday for 13weeks for the first week we learned about how coffee is made and roasted which was very interesting we also learned a lot about the differences between the different strains of coffee and which are the best for making coffee
in the second week, we spent an hour learning how to make the perfect espresso we also learned the basics of timing and how it plays a key roll in making the perfect espresso
