carlingford
My ty Carlingford experience I enjoyed and most activities set for us throughout the day were really enjoyable. My favourite activity that we took part in was the laser tag.
It was based in woodlands, which were referred to as ziptopia . On the left hand side we were split into two different teams by the colour of our guns and then proceeded on carrying out two different types of games. The first was a team deathmatch which included both teams shooting at each other until one team killed the other. And the second game we played was capture the flag but one team could only attack, the other has to defend .
This activity was enjoyable and I would take part in it again. After this, we played murder mystery where we walked around the town looking for clues on who killed who, this was one of the activity’s not many enjoyed as it was not that interesting.
The thing I disliked about Carlingford was the fact that the food wasn’t great and we spent most of the day hungry. I would definitely recommend bringing something to eat with you which I did not and regretted it for most of the trip, as we were not allowed to leave to go to the shops and get food
The other activities were mostly zip-lining ,which took place the second day in sky park which was also home too the aeroball, frisbee golf ,archery and the 3D maze which enjoyed especially, It was a container full of three floors and had a start and exit, the game was held in pitch black and we had to find our way to the exit which I did close to the very end, Not many did but all enjoyed the experience . The zip-lining course in sky park was very difficult and did not include many zip lines it was more of a challenge more than anything but I still enjoyed.
When we got back from a main activates we had an hour to relax and to prepare for the night activities which some were fun and some were not, the one I really enjoyed was the sensory walk. We went walking with blindfolds on, which was good as you had to rely on the person in front of you and your other senses to guild you through the course there was obstacles as well this included climbing through a box on the ground waking in mattresses and other things.
On the day we left we did the ziptopia course which included many more zip lines but took much longer to complete than the sky park due too the amount of people on the course. So we spent most of our time waiting for the person in front of us to go which was the only fault I could give the experience After this we walked back to the center to get packed and leave to go back to school. All very tried but most fulfilled with the experience
